Today was an awesome day. We saw a pod of Pacific White-sided Dolphins, Sea Lions, Leopard sharks, a Bat Ray and another Grey Whale. We saw 7 Greys yesterday. The water visibility is the best we have seen all winter. The air temp is about 70 degrees. It feels like summer. The reserve is so full of life today. The winter seems to bring the animals back…Update – the last tour just came in. They were out for about 3.5 hours and saw 7 Grey Whales. The largest one was about 40-50 feet long. Her fluke was huge. The closest was a baby…probably born last year. Amazing day on the water…amazing.
